Have I mentioned how much I LOVE photographing newborn babies?? I am pretty sure this is the best job ever. I got to meet sweet little Brielle at just 5 days old for her newborn photo session. She did absolutely amazing for us and was so cute and snuggly!!

This little lady did so great she was in and out within just two hours. Newborn sessions typically take from 2-4 hours to allow for lots of feeding, soothing, & snuggling breaks. While I certainly try not to keep you any longer than necessary… I never want parents to feel rushed or have to watch the time and worry about their baby not cooperating. Small babies pretty much call the shots during their sessions so I plan my time accordingly. Parents can take this opportunity to sit back and relax for a little while while I do most of the work. 🙂

I have had the great pleasure of photographing miss Hazel several times over the last two years… but this is the first time her AWESOME mama has actually gotten in the pictures with her! And I’m so glad she did- I had such a fun time with these ladies, and I just love the way their photos turned out. One of the best parts about being a family photographer is being able to capture those sweet moments between loved ones, and being able to give my clients not just pretty pictures… but beautiful memories as well.

Baby Evan and his parents came to see me for a newborn photo session when he was two weeks old. What a sweet squishy little guy he was! He did a fabulous job for us. I love that he gave us some great awake shots at the beginning of the session– he has such beautiful eyes and he’s already so full of personality 🙂

Photographing families with small children is always fun and the sessions usually turn out to be some of my favorites! I met the “C” family for a lovely evening session– which means yummy light, but also that we had to fight off some of those nasty Wisconsin summer mosquitoes. I think it was worth the effort though- I love how their pictures turned out! Mom & Dad wanted mostly photos of the kiddos, but we a few really cute family portraits in too 🙂
These kids were full of personality and really made my job easy. I’m so glad I got to meet these guys!!
